Although Apps Script has been around for a while, Google has rolled out some new features recently. Last week, it was support for scripting on Sites. And today Google has added support for scripting recurring calendar events.
This will allow users to write scripts to create, retrieve, update and delete recurring events in calendars.
Here are the examples of the code snippets that will create a calendar event for all days that are Friday the 13th:
