BBC Playlister now lets you add music from TV shows you’re watching on iPlayer

The BBC has upgraded Playlister, its service for bookmarking and exporting tracks broadcast through its daily programming, to include television shows on the desktop version of BBC iPlayer. So whether you’re watching a Genesis documentary or the latest instalment of Strictly Come Dancing, you can hit the Playlister button, identify the track and save it to your collection. As before, you can then review your mixtape on the Playlister site and export it to Spotify, Deezer, YouTube or iTunes. The BBC says over 10 million tracks have been added using Playlister over the last 12 months, which has encouraged the company to expand…
