Oh dear. Taxi drivers have hit the streets of London today to protest against Uber – and the way Transport for London regulates the firm – but the demonstrations and related media coverage have actually helped the company to attract new customers. Across the city, Uber is reporting an 850 percent increase in sign-ups compared to the same day last week.
