After launching iPlayer video downloads for 11 Android devices last September, the BBC today said all hardware running Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) or higher should now be able to access the new feature. The broadcaster estimates that over 96 percent of people who use the iPlayer app on Android should be covered by the roll-out.
