We love hippies. We love developers, too. And there are some developers coming into the scene who can craft code into apps that we never dreamed could be done.
Cloudstock is an event for developers and cloud providers that should attract some pretty talented folks. Scheduled for December 6, the event will be part of Dreamforce, the Salesforce.com annual event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The partner list shows the calibre of developers and providers who should be coming to this event. They include VMware, Paypal, Adobe, Amazon Web Services and Google. Some of the rising stars of the cloud world are also partners. Heroku, Apigee, Engine Yard and Twilio will all be there to talk with developers.
Here’s Cloudstock’s description of the event:
“Cloudstock is an entirely new event designed for one purpose: To bring the top cloud developers and the top cloud technologies together under one roof, to learn from each other, collaborate, innovate, and drive the future of cloud computing. This open, meetup style, free event will feature sessions, demo stations, socializing, and a hackathon, all delivered in a hip, developer friendly context.”
So if you are developer, check out this event. We’ll be there, talking to folks and hopefully finding that Jimi Hendrix of the developer world.
