Facebook Paper may not be catching fire, but it won’t fold anytime soon either.
Paper fell out of the top 100 free apps in Apple’s App Store this week, less than a month after it launched
The iPhone app dipped to as low as 110 in the U.S. App Store rankings on Tuesday, according to data from app analytics service App Annie. As of publication, it had climbed back somewhat to 91, just behind a third-party app called InstaSize, which is intended as an unofficial companion to Facebook-owned Instagram
Facebook launched Paper, a social news reader, on Feb. 3 and received a tremendous amount of press coverage, not to mention getting promoted by Apple in the coveted top spot in the App Store. All of that helped the app hit No. 2 in the App Store rankings in the early days. Read more…
