Jamaica’s return to the Olympics after a 12-year absence coincided with a break in Sochi’s recently balmy weather: There were no athletes in shorts today.
Fog and cold temperatures caused the men’s 15km biathlon mass start to be delayed a day (the officials apparently decided shooting rifles in low visibility was not a good idea), and there were two serious injuries in women’s snowboarding. Read more…
