Audio-distribution service SoundCloud debuted its first-ever movie trailer Tuesday in a partnership with 20th Century Fox. The trailer for The Book Thief — based on a novel set in Nazi Germany — uses the film’s score and pairs the sound with movie stills.
It’s yet another way SoundCloud, which has 250 million active users monthly, is ramping up its visual presence. Last month, SoundCloud added Instagram integration, allowing users to apply their filtered photos as artwork on their audio players
