The new Google Maps continues to undergo incremental changes that promise to make it an indispensable interactive mapping solution, once the new site’s training wheels are finally removed. Google’s new update adds the ability to determine which areas on a map have Street View images available, a feature present in the classic Google Maps product that has been missing in the new version until now
Areas identified as having Street View available will, like the classic version, offer a series of blue dots indicating the presence of user-submitted images of the area. Also falling in line with the classic version, areas with yellow dots will allow you to see inside various buildings on the map. Read more…
