ICANN Announces First New Generic Top-Level Domains

The new gTLDs are starting to roll out. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced the delegation of four new “generic top-level domains,” those URL suffixes that help organize the Web (a la .com, .org, and .net).
