Reading the news and driving don’t mix for obvious safety reasons, but a new app now makes it possible by reading articles out loud while you drive
Called Dragon Drive, the app was designed by voice-recognition software company Nuance for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Its original goal was to help drivers compose and listen to texts and emails while behind the wheel. Now, it has a useful new feature: When media outlets publish an article, drivers can request it, and the text-to-speech software streams an audio recording of the article through Mercedes-Benz’s COMAND system.
