Patrice Wilson, the producer best known for creating Rebecca Black‘s “Friday,” is attempting another viral hit with his latest video, “Chinese Food,” performed by Alison Gold
The video follows the young Gold as she heads to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Dressed as a geisha, a traditional Japanese entertainer, she sings praises for fried rice and noodles while Wilson raps in a panda suit
Viewers have jumped on the video, arguing its racial insensitivities and cultural inaccuracies.
