Open-world action game Watch Dogs is getting a significant delay just a month before it was due out. Ubisoft announced the game is moving from a mid-November launch to the spring of 2014.
Watch Dogs was due out for current-gen and next-gen consoles on Nov. 19, though PlayStation 4 was getting the game early in time with the console’s Nov. 15 launch.

Ubisoft Communications Manager Gary Steinman wrote about the delay in the company’s blog, saying he knew fans would wonder why Ubisoft waited so long to delay the game.
“We struggled with whether we would delay the game. But from the beginning, we have adopted the attitude that we will not compromise on quality
As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune each detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience.” Read more…
