A new video for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Sly and the Family Stone’s 1968 classic song “Everyday People” features stock footage — and stock footage alone. Sony Music Entertainment shared the music video exclusively with Mashable on Tuesday
It’s not unusual for movie studios, TV networks or record labels to to use stock footage to enhance their entertainment projects, but they usually pair those clips with original footage. Such was the case with Netflix political drama House of Cards as well as blockbuster Iron Man 3, which both infused some scenes with file footage from Shutterstock
