For this week’s Mashable Photo Challenge Guest Series, we want to see your best black-and-white photographs. Whether they’re portraits or landscape shots, eliminating color from an image can accentuate a subject’s form and emphasize different elements like shadows and highlights
“A strong black-and-white photograph is about contrasts, forms and composition,” guest curator Kim Landgraf said. “For example, on a sunny morning when the sun is still low, look for an interesting background and try to catch someone’s shadow in a meaningful way.”
