You can now watch Walter White in 4K Ultra HD. At IFA, Sony unveiled its latest 4K Ultra HD TV sets and its Video Unlimited 4K service
As TV makers increasingly move towards 4K television sets, the big question for consumers is, “Where is the content?” Sony is answers that question with its 4K media player, the FMP-X1.
The $699 player ($499 if purchased with a Sony 4K Ultra HD TV) started shipping in July. Although it came equipped with 10 feature films and video shorts, Sony promised access to more content as part of its broader Video Unlimited service.
Video Unlimited 4K offers users a selection of more than 70 full-length movies and TV shows, including Moneyball and Breaking Bad. Read more…
