The battle for dominance between tablets and e-readers is kind of over. Tablets have their place (everywhere) and E-Ink-based readers have theirs (reading and nothing else). This dichotomy works out nicely for companies like Amazon that play both sides of the field, especially as it continues to invest in its state-of-the-art e-reader platform: The Kindle Paperwhite.
